BEATRIZ BARAYBAR is the founder of Art Up! 

 

The idea to promote up and coming local, national, as well as international artists through Art Up! evolved from many trips to visit family in South America. Beatriz is an artist aficionado; with a great ability for picking unique pieces and artists. She and her husband Scott love art and have been avid collectors themselves for over 15 years. 

 

Art Up! business model pursues to promote art in a way that would gain the most benefit for the artists. Beatriz travels to South America with the express purpose to find great art from up and coming talent as well as established artists. 

 

The art selected is all original, one of a kind work, and purchased directly from the artist.  Many of the artists Art Up! supports are committed to helping their communities which are often underprivileged.

 

Beatriz’s favorite part of the business is getting to know the artists and their families, seeing how they live, where they work, and how the affiliation with Art Up! benefits their families and the communities around them.

 

Mrs. Baraybar holds a Business degree from the University of South Florida.
